General Star Management Company is pleased to offer its Insurance Agents and Brokers Errors and Omissions Insurance Program. For risks that qualify, coverage will be provided on a non-admitted basis.
The National Specialty Programs Unit of All Risks, LTD.,(Hunt Valley, MD) will serve as the exclusive Program Administrator
Coverage Offered
- Claims-made and reported policy form
- Company has the right and duty to defend claims
- Consent to settle provision
- Coverage for exclusive independent contractors
- Claim expenses within or outside the limits of liability
- Supplementary payments provided for expenses related to Professional Reputation Protection
- Supplementary payments provided for expenses resulting from a Data Privacy Breach-Consultation and Notification Assistance
- Supplementary payments provided for expenses resulting from the investigation or defense of a proceeding before state licensing boards or other regulatory bodies
- Coverage for carrier insolvency (subject to underwriting criteria)
- Predecessors and successors in business provisions
- Worldwide coverage provided for claims / suits brought and maintained in the U.S. or Canada
Eligible Exposures
- Property and Casualty and Life A & H agencies.
- The program is available in all states except Alaska, Florida and Louisiana
Limits Available
- Maximum limits available are $5,000,000 / $5,000,000*
- Multiple deductible options starting at $2,500 with loss only and aggregate deductible options
* Higher limit considered on a special acceptance basis
Ineligible Exposures
- Investment advisors or financial planning consultants
- Professionals who exercise discretionary authority over client funds
- Reinsurance brokers, TPAs, national wholesale brokers
- Professionals with any revenue generated from outside the United States
Requirements for a Submission
- New Business Insurance Agents and Brokers Errors & Omissions Insurance Application and any applicable Supplements
- Expiring Declarations Page (proof of expiring retroactive date)
- Loss Run Report required if any prior non-renewals, board complaint or claim
- All applications must be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to All Risks.
