General Star offers an Alternative and Integrative Medicine (AIM) Physicians Program. AIM is available for individual physicians and small physician groups that specialize in integrative and complementary therapies (including acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy or herbalism) in tandem with traditional primary care medicine who are unable to procure coverage in the standard market.*

A General Star Broker Designation with General Star’s Physicians Professional Liability Program is required in order to submit qualifying business for this program.

Program Features

• Professional liability claims-made “demand” form
• Expense within limits of liability (except in New Jersey)
• Limited corporate / entity coverage available to the extent of the named insured’s liability and on a shared limits basis
• Prior acts coverage available
• Extended reporting period (ERP) option available
• Available limits of $1,000,000 / $3,000,000, or higher as required by state statute.
• Minimum premium is $5,000
• Minimum deductible is $2,500 per claim
• All coverages subject to policy terms and conditions
